The Guan Hexagram

The guan hexagram(the sybol of observation)predicates devotion,
with which the king washes his hands before making offerings in
the sacrificial. The people below are observing with the same 
devotion or piety. 

(1 is bottomline and 6 is topline of the picture)

1.Observing with the ignorance of a child
  Is blameless for the inferior man,
  But grievous for the gentleman.
2.Observing stealthily from behind the door
  Is the proper behaviour for a woman.
3.Observe your own behaviour
  To decide on your advance or retreat.
4.Observe the situation in the country
  And you may serve the king.
5.Observe his own behaviour
  And the gentleman will not receive any blame.
6.Observe the life of the people 
  And the gentleman will not receive any blame.
